Your Early Literacy Specialist can give you information on:

The Early Literacy Specialist works in the community to promote and support the development of early literacy skills in children from birth to age six.

  • For Parents, Grandparents and Caregivers:

    provide workshops to promote children's early language and literacy development.
    - Introduce educational activities parents can do every day with children.
    - Supply information and resources to support parents, grandparents and caregivers in their roles.
    - Organize and participate in community events to connect parents with literacy resources and professionals.
