JUKEBOX MANIA
Saturday January 21, 2012
Lindsay Armoury

Juke Box Mania is a really great opportunity to become part of a special community event in support of the Ontario Early Years Centre Haliburton Victoria Brock (OEYC). This event is fresh, creative and a lot of fun! It's not black tie, you don't have to run, walk or cycle.

Juke Box Mania is best described as a kind of "name that tune" game that challenges players to name muscial artists, movies, jingles, television shows and various songs from every musical genre in a fun, relaxed and party-like atmosphere. The night features great music, food, entertainment and a costume contest, raffle and silent auction, all to raise money to provide support and education to children 0-6 years of age and their families.

Individuals or companies looking to get involved in Juke Box Mania 2012 can contact the OEYC at 324-7900, or by emailing admin@oeyc.ca.

To participate all you have to do is:

  • Give your team a name
  • Dress up as your favourite musical group (Optional)
  • Bring an album cover to identify your team's table
  • Come out and enjoy a little singing, a little humming, a little dancing and a lot of music trivia

Teams and individuals can call Lisa to register at 705-324-7900 Ext. 201

LET'S GET SINGING WITH KIM!!!

This CD was created for our families and friends that attend the Ontario Early Years Centres within Kawartha Lakes, Haliburton, Brock and beyond!

Over the years the OEYC Executive Director Judith Tripp had suggested that a staff member bring to life the circle time songs on a CD. Kim White took the challenge and the creation of this CD began.

If you would like to purchase the CD or would like more information please call 705-324-7900.
